6/28/05 Pat Barger Fabriz writes: "Have lived in Minnesota since 1961. Married Harold Fabriz in 1987. Hope to attend the all school reunion in 2005."
5/14/05 Assorted people reported the death of Charlie Worstall. The following is extracted from an obituary which appeared in the May 11, 2005 Bloomington Herald-Times.

Charles E. Worstall, 74, of Bloomington, died on Saturday, May 7 at Bloomington Hospital as a result of a traffic accident. Charlie was a 1949 graduate of University School and later attended Purdue and Indiana Universities. He served in the National Guard and retired as a First Sergeant after 21 years. He worked with Rogers Group, Inc. (aka Ralph Rogers & Co.) and retired in 1989 after 43 years with them. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary Jane (Wampler) Worstall of Bloomington; two daughters, two sons, 8 grandchildren, one great-grandson and his mother and father-in-law. His parents and one sister preceded him in death.
11/8/04 David Stephan passed on the word he received from Zay Brinson about LeRoy Brinson's death.
5/11/04 The Bloomington Herald Times ran an obituary on May 3 for Dr James Booze, who passed away on May 1.
9/17/03 David Stephan ('50) forwards the following: "Dear David and Joyce: Thank you for passing this on to Karen's classmates and for your kind inquiries. We will miss Karen. Sincerely--Marguerite Thompson." He included the following message and this photo of Karen.

Karen Lindesmith died September 4, 2003 but as Rabindranath Tagore wrote:
"Let it not be a death but completeness.
Let love melt into memory and pain into songs.
Let the flight through the sky end in the folding of wings over the nest.
Let the last touch of your hands be gentle like the flower of the night.
Stand still, O Beautiful End, and say your last words in silence.
I bow to you and hold up my lamp to light you on your way."

And so it was. The week before Karen died was described by her as a "renaissance week". She had accomplished some uncompleted goals and aspirations. She gave flowers to a friend, found peace in the midst of chaotic thoughts and generally had feelings of accomplishment and personal pride. As if silently drawn to her final destination, Karen requested and directed a friend to a lookout high over Lake Monroe. After sitting and talking together for a while enjoying one of Bloomington's finest days, she walked to their vehicle aided only by the gentle arm of her friend. After sitting down to rest a minute she closed her eyes and soon quietly breathed her last breathe.

We who know you and love you, Karen, do lift our lamps to light you on your way as you have lit our hearts with your bright smile and courageous spirit.
12/02/01 Frances (Barnhart) Zorn writes: I am teaching at the University of Michigan and am married to Jens Zorn (UHS49). Our son, Eric Zorn, is a columnist for the Chicago Tribune.
